Sustainable Tourism Asia Forum 2019 in Singapore

In partnership with Visa and Marina Bay Sands Singapore, ELEVATE will be hosting the second annual Sustainable Tourism Asia Forum on 21st of November 2019 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The forum will serve as the platform for leading companies in the hospitality and tourism sectors, as well as government officials and non-profits, to share solutions that are driving innovation and advancement in the industry.

SINGAPORE, 12 September 2019. Once again ITB Asia will bring together players from the tourism, hospitality, transport, theme parks and attractions industry in Singapore from 16 to 18 October 2019. The venue for conferences, talks and exhibition: Sands Expo and Convention Centre at the Marina Bay Sands.

For those eager to hear more about tourism with sustainability initiatives, visit the afternoon session on Friday 18 October within the Destination Marketing track.

Speakers with proven experience are lined up for two hours from 1:30pm to speak on the business aspects of running a tourism venture while taking into account impacts on society and the environment. The topics are as follows:

Other themes at this year’s event are Corporate Travel, Muslim Travel and Travel Technology. Altogether, there’ll be over 200 sessions led by more than 260 speakers.

This year, for the first time, a mega event on inaugural meetings, incentives, conferences & exhibitions (MICE) will be held alongside ITB Asia. At MICE Show Asia, attendees will get to hear about forecasts for the global meeting and events industries in 2020, and how the industry is transforming. Venue remains at Sands Expo and Convention Centre 

ITB Asia is organised by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and supported by the Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau. In its 12th year, the annual three-day B2B trade show and convention will feature hundreds of exhibiting companies from the Asia- Pacific region, Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East, covering not only the leisure market, but also MICE and corporate travel.

Under the theme “Co-creating life-changing tourism experiences", the 2016 Sustainable & Smart Tourism Forum (2016 SSTF) has been designed to offer a platform and a playground for gaining and sharing knowledge, skills and good practices around the world, in the fields of sustainable and smart tourism as well as smart cities.
